House Rules

Dear guests,

We wish you a warm welcome to Kimen Hotel and would like to briefly inform you of our House Rules.

    1. During your stay at the hotel please preserve our natural environment and make sure you use water and electricity rationally.
    2. Air conditioning is turned off when the front door or balcony door in your room is open.
    3. The power supply voltage is 220 V.
    4. Visits or business meetings are allowed only in the common areas of the hotel, the bar, restaurant or lobby, but not in the room.
    5. For the purpose of fire safety, candles and flammable materials are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited in closed areas.
    6. Please use the rooms at your disposal, the appliances, equipment and items with the care of a good host.
    7. Please notify the reception desk immediately of any failures or issues with the provided services.
    8. Bear in mind that you are responsible for any damage that occurred through your fault or the fault of a person in your care, for which you are obliged to provide compensation.
    9. Board meals are served at the following times:
      1. breakfast buffet 7:00–10:00 a.m.
      2. dinner 7:00–9:00 p.m.

    10. If you are interested in lunch packages or want to change your meal arrangements, please contact the reception desk by 9:00 p.m. the day before or in the morning of the same day by 8:00 a.m.
    11. You are free to use the safe in your room to store your money, securities and other valuables. Instructions for use are on the safe. The hotel assumes no responsibility for any lost or stolen items.
    12. Please take into account the other guests who want to rest and refrain from making noise in your room and the hallways after 11:00 p.m.
    13. For safety and hygiene reasons it is not allowed to prepare hot meals and drinks in the rooms.
    14. Please read and follow the fire safety instructions posted in the hallways.
    15. Please report any lost or found items to the reception desk.
    16. Please leave the room by 11:00 a.m. on your departure day. Guests who stay in their room after 12:00 p.m. are charged an extra day of stay.
    17. Guests with booked stays confirmed by the Sales and Marketing Sector or Kimen Hotel shall be charged as follows for early departures and late arrivals:
      1. if the guest’s late arrival or early departure reduces the previously confirmed stay booked by one day, the guest shall be charged for the duration of his stay plus one extra day,
      2. if the guest’s late arrival or early departure reduces the previously confirmed stay booked by two days, the guest shall be charged for the duration of his stay plus two extra days,
      3. if the guest’s late arrival or early departure reduces the previously confirmed stay booked by three or more days, the guest shall be charged for the duration of his stay plus three extra days.

      Changes of already confirmed bookings for stays in Kimen Hotel within 14 days prior to arrival are possible only in written form. After the hotel or the Sales Sector confirms the change in booking in writing, additional costs shall be charged (depending on the number of days changed) to ensure the hotel’s operations run smoothly. Kimen Hotel reserves the right to offer a room, suite or apartment to other interested customers after 24 hours of the confirmed date of arrival, unless the change in booking was expressly (in writing) announced and confirmed. Guests who fail to announce a late arrival shall not be entitled to compensation nor accommodation that was previously confirmed.

    18. Please use the key card with care. You will be additionally charged in the amount of HRK 150.00 for any damage to or loss of the key card during your stay.
    19. Don’t forget to return your key or key card to the reception desk upon departure.

    20. We reserve the right to terminate the contract and stop providing services to guests who are in gross violation of the House Rules or cause damage or disturbance to other hotel guests with their behaviour.
